Your whole financial life in one place. Probably for the first time. Here's exactly how to set it up, start to finish.

๐Ÿ”’ Your data is processed in this session only. Never stored, never shared.
Part 1 ยท Get set up (one time, ~3 minutes)

MoneyMappd runs inside Claude

MoneyMappd reads your statements with code, which is what keeps it fast, private and accurate. That only works in the Claude desktop app, in a mode called Cowork. If this is new, follow these three steps once and you're set for good.

  1. Download the Claude desktop app. Go to claude.ai/download and install it on your Mac or Windows computer. The phone app and the website won't work for this, you need the desktop app.
  2. Open Cowork. Inside the desktop app, find Cowork mode (it's where Claude can work with your files). Open it.
  3. Start a new task. Click New task, then type MoneyMappd to begin.
Already in Cowork reading this? You're good. Skip straight to Part 2 and drag your files in.
Part 2 ยท Export your bank statements

Download a CSV from each account

CSV gives the cleanest, most accurate dashboard, and keeps the whole thing fast to run. Every Australian bank can do this. The wording changes a little, the steps don't.

  1. Log into your internet banking on a computer (easier than the app).
  2. Open the account you want, then look for Export, Download or Download transactions.
  3. Choose CSV as the format (not PDF if you can avoid it).
  4. Pick the longest date range on offer. Six months is plenty, up to 12 months is even better.
  5. Save the file, then repeat for each account.
No CSV option? A PDF statement or Excel file works too. CSV is just the smoothest. Scanned or photographed statements are the slow path, so reach for the real export first.
Part 3 ยท Upload and go

Drag your files into the chat

Back in your MoneyMappd task, drop all your CSVs into the chat at once (or use the upload button). Then send. That's it, your dashboard builds itself.

1

Drag them in

All your CSVs at once. One file or ten, any bank.

2

Send the message

Claude reads every transaction with code.

3

Get your dashboard

One HTML file. Open it anywhere, keep it forever.

Grab these accounts

The more you add, the truer the picture

Each account tells part of the story. Together they show where your money actually goes. Export one CSV per account.

The question everyone asks

Multiple accounts? Different banks? Yes.

You can't break it by uploading too much. More is genuinely better.

  • Different banks are fine. NAB, CBA, ING, Up, Amex, all in the one upload.
  • One CSV per account. Three credit cards? Upload all three. No limit.
  • No double-counting. Money you shift between your own accounts is filtered out automatically.
  • Mixed formats welcome. CSV from one bank, PDF from another, all in the same go.
Ready? Upload your files now.

Drag your CSVs into the chat, or use the upload button.
