Why I built this

I spend my days deep in AI. Teaching myself, building practical tools, and working with some of the country's leading companies to bring a human voice into the technology they ship.

While I was teaching myself, one thing became painfully obvious in my own house. The biggest issue our family had wasn't earning more or budgeting harder. It was simply not knowing where our money was going. So I used my AI learning as a project. I'd build the tool I needed.

I spent close to a month building MoneyMappd and refining it. By the end, I realised how powerful something this simple really was.

The conversations I'd been avoiding

I'd been putting off these money conversations for years. I hate looking at statements. I hate the feeling of not knowing where it all goes. But in this environment, every saving is a good saving, and MoneyMappd finally gave us something honest to sit down with.

Case in point. I had no idea my kids had spent $440 on canteen lunches in nine months. That number alone changed a conversation in our house, and led to a real saving without anyone feeling told off.

I'm not a financial adviser. I'm an AI expert who built a practical tool I hope will help many Australian families. MoneyMappd shows you your own numbers in plain English. The decisions are still yours.
